After crossing Komaron bridge and heading to the train station of the neighboring Slovak town of Komarno, on July 28th I left Hungary and reached another Danubian capital: Bratislava.
Then it was the turn of Bohemia’s jewels, in magical Prague.
Two new countries and two new Capitals, in the midst of the first real difficulties.
My journey was slowly changing.
My journey, day by day, was becoming something different.

29 July, Bratislava (Slovakia) | Day 58 🇸🇰
“So did you like Esztergom and Hungary?”
“No. Not really.”

AFTERNOON
In Bratislava there is definitely a bunch of things to do.
There is a river, a castle, an ancient city, parks, economic beers, stunning girls and youth in every corner.
I arrived here last night. I’ll go away tomorrow.
What did I see? Nothing.
Since a couple of days my batteries are really low, for the first time in an very important way.
Maybe all this continuous “going”, after nearly two months, is happening too quickly. And I do not have time to store everything my eyes see, my senses perceive, my spirit tastes.
At times, I do not deny it, it is perhaps even too much.
And then sometimes I’m overwhelmed: I feel the need to move, to go on, but then, when I do it, it happens that I think about where I was and I do not live present at its fullest.
This, also, is part of the road. Of the journey.
Actually, it’s the journey itself.
A moment which will teach me something.
From tomorrow, no doubt.
For now I prefer to stay barefoot on the grass, under the castle’s shadow,
lulled by the people’s chatting and by the wind in the trees.
Beer in hand.
Waiting for the sun to drop.

30 July, Prague (Czech Republic) | Day 59 🇨🇿
VIDEO
I cannot say if my tyres or my eyes are more signed, but yea I’m cycling in another city today.
Need to find a new hat for the new courty … cause I left Bratislava and entered Prague!
Took a bus this time 😊
EVENING
I understand now why I was a bit dizzy lately.
Today I got some kind of flu.
But I got also a beer.
And this.
(I feel like in Lady and the Tramp)

31 July, Prague (Czech Republic) | Day 60 🇨🇿
In Prague I couldn’t swim (no way in the river), so … again on the highest point of the city.
And well, I had to change the hat as far as I’m in a new country.
I was thinking about buying a new one for a few crowns, but then I remembered my friend Jiri gave me one. And he is from Czech Republic.
So how could I take a better choice than wearing that hat?
I know I look a bit like a mix between The Mask, Goblin and Tom Bombadil … but , yea, that’s it.

1 August, Prague (Czech Republic) | Day 61 🇨🇿
